Say hello to chip free nail polish!

Sunday, 24 February 2013

All I ask for is nail polish that doesn't chip! - how many times have you heard that one? Well
Alessandro International have answered our polish prayers.
The Usual - For the past few years Essie products have been slowly taking over my nail polish collection but I find that their formulas vary too much - sometimes I get this great easy to apply product but often I end up with a super thin formula that leaves me with a very streaky finish.

New Discovery - 2 words: Alessandro International. A product that gives you super glossy nails and that has a non-chip formula is something this brand has perfected. From their cute bottles to easy to apply & dry polishes, I can definitely say that Alessandro have nailed it on every level!

The Test- Last Sunday, instead of opting for an Essie product to feature in my evening beauty routine, I went for an Alessandro polish. The smooth formula and thick brush allowed an easy application (I only had to do one
coat that dried super quickly) and a week later, I can say that they still look freshly done and are completely chip free.

It all sounds too good to be true but Alessandro International  are ticking all the boxes when it comes to fulfilling my polish needs! They are due to launch in the UK later this month so keep an eye out..

Who can say no to a tube filled of 1,057 roses? It's only right that my first post is dedicated to
my skin saviour, Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream - the plain white t-shirt of my skincare collection.

The ultimate combo - The foundation that I am currently using is Laura Mericer Mineral Powder
and for those with dry skin that find powder foundation to give more of a "flakey" finish, using the rose day cream will help aid this and give you more of a dewy look.

Another option -
The moisturiser doesn't leave a greasy/shiny finish but if you have combination/oily skin,  I would suggest opting for the rose day cream light as it is a little less... intense. If you can't decide which one then grab a trial size version of each from Dr Hauschka.com!

I need this in my life - The best place to buy the moisturiser would be directly from Dr Hauscka.com but it is also available in John Lewis & Liberty (if you are a London local).

Fun fact - I bought my latest tube from Liberty and as soon I popped it onto the counter the cashier immediately gasped and told me that it was her "favourite moisturiser EVER!" - true story.
